What if every step or action or thought that you enacted had a specific tone or note associated with it, a tone that was not of your conscious creation, but connected to the essence of you, your innermost being? Theoretically, the sequence of these particular notes would form a melody of some kind. What if you could then listen to that music at the end of the day, and discover your patterns, your motifs, your embellishments, your major and minor moments, your monotones, your dissonances, or.....your silences. You would BE Music! What if you could use this awareness to build on-to become an active listener, composer and creator of your own life's soundtrack?
Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras explored the theory of Musica Universalis, also known as music of the spheres, a concept that considers the movement of celestial bodies as a form of music. The theory was later developed by 16-century astronomer Johannes Kepler, who did not believe this "music" to be audible, but felt that it could nevertheless be heard by the soul. What if your soul really does hear the music of who you are and what you do?
Could we be considered as "celestial bodies" on a micro level? Why not?
